Re: Extra Gas cans ?




as Mike points out, this is a horrible problem to solve.  There are
efforts to keep all gas within the frame of the car.  But there are also
those who feel it is illegal to carry loose gas cans inside the car, even
an auto.  The discussion got no where.

For my part, I refuse to follow a "gas bomb" and ask that I be placed away
from that possibility when on an excursion.  There is no easy solution for
the group as a whole, as some people just flat don't care and get upset if
you try to get the tanks off the rear of the car.  I guess they, the
tanks, make great bumpers.
