Good Evening,

This past week the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay received a call
from a local bank asking what is a "creeper."  We all are familiar with the
term used in car and truck repair facilities but not associated with
railroads.  We do not know why a bank would be making such an inquiry.   
Is it a handcar type of equipment? A track mobile?  Please advise if you
can give us a clue as to what is a "creeper" as used by railroads.
