Re: Extra Gas cans ?



This is true, so one should keep his can full or empty.  Make a point
of guarding the gas can from impact areas.  A can of vaporized gas
will not explode even if you throw a match into it.  The reason? 
Because there is more gasoline than oxygen in the can.  But as soon as
you open it (or ram into it with a car, etc.) you allow enough oxygen
near the gas vapors to make a perfectly combustible mixture (i.e. run
like mad).

Ever wonder why all new vehicles with an in-tank electric fuel pump
never explode?  This is why.  Just a little nfo
