Someone bit my lure!  Actually the M-9, with no cab, is quite nimble.  
And I did go up that 6% grade with it.  Not only that, but remember there
is a crossing about half way up, AND there was traffic, so I had to stop.
Getting the car started took a lot of slipping, but I do use the "drafting
pad" on the belt, so it squealed a lot but got going and kept up with the
Onans.  (The pad you buy at a drafting supply shop, or campus bookstore ;)
and is normally used to wipe off drawings - it is ground up eraser inside.  
This is what is slipping not the belt.  It allows your belt to be run with
less tension also.)
